Dr. Pauline Poitou is a French Family Medicine Specialist and has been member of the French National Board of Physicians (Conseil National de l’Ordre des Médecins) since 2010.

She attended medical school at the famous university of Cochin Port-Royal in Paris after which, she obtained her diploma as Family Medicine Specialist at the University of Rouen, in France (2010). Dr. Poitou then went on to train in Pediatrics, obtaining her Pediatric Diploma from the prestigious University of Necker, in Paris. Furthermore, she continued her studies and also obtained her diploma in Gynecology-Obstetrics at the university of Rouen.

Dr. Pauline Poitou has 12 years experience as a Family Medicine Practitioner and Pediatrician in France.
She first worked in various practices in Normandy as a Family Doctor before establishing her own practice near Paris in 2012, where she used to follow many patients and families.

She looks after the health of both adults and children, and deals with acute and chronic pathologies.
Dr. Poitou has a special interest in childcare and looks after children’s health from birth through to teenage years. She can conduct check-ups for newborns, infants and teenagers, vaccinations, parent’s education and counselling (diversification, prevention of obesity, puberty, etc.) and can also counsel teenagers during puberty. She also has a special interest in women’s health & maternity.

Dr. Pauline Poitou thoroughly enjoys being a family doctor through the personal attention and relationship which is built up with each patient. This approach is very important in the quality of the care provided to each patient, as the doctor needs to be able to assess the health of the patient as a whole person.

Dr. Pauline Poitou has recently moved to Dubai and sees both French speaking and English speaking patients.
